Vintage French verdure tapestry. Rich shades of blue and green in the typical Aubusson style. It is after 'Le Lignon' an 18th Century Aubusson tapestry in the 'Verdures fines' series. Original label on the reverse indicates that this is a Halluin tapestry, a type of French textile often in the classic Aubusson style which was produced by workshops in Halluin France. It is woven in incredible detail and texture.
To be hung on a rail or can also be attached directly to the wall with the hooks as shown in images.
