There is a kind of knowledge that cannot be bought. It comes from years of dedicated early mornings at brocantes, from relationships built slowly with dealers, trust hard-earned over the years, from knowing which village market is worth the detour and which local restaurant still deserves its reputation.

Emma Lunn has spent years building exactly that kind of knowledge in the South of France. In September 2026, she's opening up her world to share with a small group of like-minded travellers.

Your journey takes you through three of the region's most distinctive landscapes: the luminous energy of Nice, the sun-baked setting of Provence, and the coastal air of the Gulf of St Tropez. The places you'll sleep and stay have been carefully selected with the same exacting eye Emma brings to every piece she sources: a restored convent with Roman baths and a resident herbalist, a villa carved from a 16th-century palace, a family-owned château complete with a century-old olive grove and a secluded beach perfect for early dips.

Meals at La Colombe d'Or and Lily of the Valley. Mornings happily lost in brocantes. Private visits that usually take years to earn. And beside you for it all, someone who doesn't just know this region, but holds a strong connection to it.
